A layout drawing from the Hanna-Barbera animated series “The Flintstones” (c. 1960s). Featuring Ed Sullystone, the graphite drawing was created at the studio and used during the animation process for the episode titled “Itty Biddy Fred,” which aired in 1964. The fantastic parody drawing of famed television personality Ed Sullivan has been signed by legendary animator Dick Bickenbach. Measuring 10.5”x12.5” overall with a drawn image layout area measuring 8.25”x11.25”, the drawing is attached with double-sided tape to a 16”x18” mat. The drawing is in good condition with age-related discoloration to the paper, minor graphite smearing, handling and age-related edge and corner wear, and slight rips and tears along the right edge.
